The Process

Disasters and emergencys can happen and when they do give El Paso Restoration your local water restoration company a call. We will locate the problem and stop it at the source. There will be a fee for that process unless it's already taken care of. We specialize in emergency water damage mitigation.

Without a signed  contract or authorization to work we will not be able to start the mitigation process. Water mitigation service is the first step to prevent any further water damage and should be started right away. The sooner mitigation starts the better the odds are of saving money. We start by finding the water source, removing standing water and drying any affected areas. The property owner or tenant can start the process before we arrive, such as removing belongings and opening windows to help dry the area. We will not know the exact cost when we arrive but after measuring and taking moisture readings we can have an estimate ready within a day. Sometimes mitigation is all you need but usually reconstruction is needed as well. We service Paso Robles, Atascadero and San Luis Obispo County.

Water mitigation addresses water damage. Mitigation prevents further damage and involves water removal, moisture control and structural drying. Without mitigation mold and other serious damage can occur and potentially be an expensive risk. The faster the response time the better. We specialize in 911 restoration.

Once mitigation is approved, we either put all belongings in the affected areas into storage containers. We then section off affected areas and start drywall removal and dehumidifying affected areas. Sometimes additional fees can happen if there is hidden damage but your authorization or insurance approval is required.  During mitigation we will ask for a deposit and progress payments as the job progresses. Once we are done we go to step 3. 

If you decide to continue with our company after  the mitigation process, we can submit the reconstruction estimate to the insurance company or homeowner. Once approved by your insurance or the homeowner we can begin step 4.

Now that everything is dried, cleaned and sanitized we will begin the reconstruction which can include drywall, painting, cabinetry, flooring, carpet replacement and more. This process can be short or lengthy depending on the situation. Once we are done you can return to your property and way of life. This process will also need a down payment and progress payments as well.
